    Our Partnerships

    At ASAL eXtension we truly believe that dryland development can only be achieved through team work that forges complimentary and long standing partnerships. Our partnership approach is based on a swahili proverb that states;

    “Kukuja pamoja ni mwanzo, kukuwa pamoja ni maendeleo; kufanya kazi pamoja ni mafanikio.”

    Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success

    Sesai Vet care is committed to offering quality curative and preventative animal health services amongst pastoralists in arid and semi arid areas of kenya.

    Vet Treks

    In many developing countries veterinary services are not widely available. However, changes in global commerce, local economic improvements and culture have brought about dramatically increased demand for animal care services in our target countries (currently Kenya and Vietnam).

    The Vet Treks Foundation will support the development of expanded veterinary services in communities that are lacking.

    Kusoma Tu Foundation

    I believe that we can teach everyone to read using the phonics and stories that are told in away that the learner can relate to their environment. Over the years Kusoma Tu has developed a range of resources including a reading manual accompanied by learning materials customized for the African/Kenyan child.

    In order to learn to teach reading the “Kusoma Tu Way”, the organisation has further developed training programmes and a training manual to facilitate individuals and schools to be able to effectively utilize our reading manuals and accompanying materials.
