Effective rabies control and prevention begins at the community level, where early detection and timely response are critical. To strengthen grassroots capacity, a comprehensive training program was conducted for Community Health Promoters (CHPs) and Community Disease Reporters (CDRs) on rabies disease awareness, prevention, and management. This initiative aims to equip these frontline actors with the knowledge and skills necessary to identify, report, and respond to rabies cases promptly, while also educating local communities on safe practices to reduce the spread of the disease.
